Round South of Cebu

Ever wonder what the south of Cebu looks like? Let's take a peek.

Round South Route
First Stop: Osmena Peak, Dalaguete Cebu

Up hill
You can ride a habal-habal for 75 pesos
Get off at the Dalaguete Vegetable Market

Welcome to the vegetable basket of Cebu

Rice paddies

Pine trees and Falcata trees

Each basket of vegetables weigh about 70-100 kilos

View from the top

The ascend

View of Badian Island

Breath taking view of the highest peak in Cebu

Approx 1000 meters above sea level

The trek takes about 1-2 hours. The view from the top was worth the effort. You can also camp overnight if you plan to traverse to Kawasan falls.
Let us all remember to take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. That also includes our trash. Let's take care of our mother nature. :)

Next stop: Boljoon

Boljoon Church and Museum

Take a dip in the cool water to reward yourself for a successful climb

The road trip continues

Beautiful sunset at Badian

You can also stop by Aguinid Falls in Samboan and Kawasan Falls in Badian.

This was my first time to go round south of Cebu. The trip took one whole day but it was all worth it. You get to see the peaceful towns by the sea, old houses and nature spots.

I am a true blue southern girl. Love Cebu. Support local tourism. 'Til next time! :)
